A nightly, show-stopping fireworks show spectacularly choreographed to patriotic music at 9:15pm (viewed from the Main gate Plaza area and the Full Throttle Plaza);

Six Flags Magic Mountain lights up the holiday season with the return of the beloved winter extravaganza—Holiday in the Park—select days November 20 through January 2. Revelers of all ages will be delighted as the park transforms into a dazzling winter wonderland with more than two million twinkling lights in eight uniquely themed areas. The magic of Holiday in the Park begins at 5:00pm on select nights throughout the 125-acre park amidst the thrilling collection of world-class coasters and family attractions. From festive entertainment and musical light displays, to delicious seasonal treats and limited- edition holiday-themed gifts and souvenirs, it’s a holiday spectacular for all to enjoy.

For a taste of the holidays, Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Holiday in the Park exclusive culinary delights will light up your taste buds with a wide variety of specialty holiday-inspired main courses like turkey poutine, cranberry pulled pork sandwiches, and brisket and mac ’n cheese egg rolls. If that’s not enough, festive sweets and treats include freshly made peppermint bark, cinnamon apple funnel cakes, Rudolph’s Thrill Shakes, and much more. Guests can also cozy up with loved ones and roast marshmallows over an open fire pit at one of several locations around the park.

Themed Entertainment and DC, today unveiled plans to add yet another record-breaking coaster—WONDER WOMANTM Flight of Courage—to its unparalleled thrill ride lineup. Six Flags Magic Mountain’s record 20th roller coaster—the most at any theme park in the world—will debut as the tallest and longest single- rail coaster on the planet where riders will fly over 3,300 feet of track, towering 13 stories and soaring at speeds up to 58 miles-per-hour. In accordance with state and county reopening guidelines for waterparks, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor will operate at reduced attendance levels utilizing the company’s new reservation system. The waterpark will also utilize the extensive safety measures employed at Six Flags Magic Mountain, including several new advanced technology systems to protect guests and employees. The plan, developed in consultation with infectious disease experts, sets standards for executing at the highest levels of hygiene and social distancing protocols. These procedures will be adjusted on an as-needed basis to ensure compliance with state and county recommendations.

Our trip to Magic Mountain last Saturday was not only to see the beautiful lights but also get a little taste of their food fest starting soon.
3 diffrent options, All Season Dining Plan holders get discounts, of corse you can try things with out buying a card. We got to try the Gingerbread Cheesecake, Honey Buttered Ham Biscuit Sandwich, Jalapeño Bacon Mac&Cheese 🙂 (Fav) , Sweet Corn Tamale, and Cranberry Tangerine Wings. We didn’t try the Maple Cranberry Meatless Meatballs we like meat 😉
Loved everything on the plate but the Tamale, meat lover 😉

Newly Themed Boardwalk Area Includes Renovated Attractions, Dining, Games and Shopping
We had our first ever ride on a pendulum, and it happens to be the world’s tallest and fastest. Only at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The surrounding area is now called “Boardwalk.” The area is nicely re-painted and themed to the Craziness 😉 of CraZanity. The ride packs a punch!!! So much so that I ran out of saliva towards the end. You pick up so much speed its crazy, the air time is really really fun, we totally didn’t expect it. Great addition to the park, nice break from roller coaster during your visit 😉

July 12th Six Flags Magic Mountain, the undisputed “Thrill Capital of the World,” today debuted CraZanity, the world’s tallest pendulum ride. At a record- breaking 170-feet in the air, the massive giant disk reaches speeds up to 75 miles-per-hour, as it whips back and forth — higher and higher giving riders a staggering view of the world below them.
“Six Flags is known world-wide for the biggest and best thrills bar none and the record-breaking CraZanity ride delivers a crazy, high adrenaline experience very different from anything else we have in our unparalleled thrill ride arsenal,” said Park President, Neal Thurman. “With 100 extra operating days, we are now open every single day which greatly expands our travel industry opportunities and allows us to better leverage the vast population of 24 million Southern California residents.”
The new 365-day operating calendar enables the Los Angeles-based theme park to work extensively with the destination travel markets. Southern California is a noted theme park mecca, welcoming more than 47 million visitors annually. Six Flags now has an operating schedule on par with all other theme parks in Southern California.
The park has done an extensive renovation of the Boardwalk area with new theming and attractions. Highlights include:
CraZanity – where 40 riders experience weightlessness swinging at speeds up to 75 miles-per-hour, and reaching a world-record 170-feet high;
Enhanced attractions featuring the Jammin’ Bumper Cars; and
