Families can join in on the ghoulish fun as the park transforms with themed décor and wicked fun around every corner. Halloween-themed activities, including trick-or-treating, a lineup of original shows, costume contests and pumpkin decorating await. New this fall season, join Charlie Brown, Snoopy and their friends for Spooktivities, a host of games, music, spooky storytelling and more for ghouls of all ages. Knott’s Spooky Farm will be taking place in the daytime, Thursdays through Sundays, September 26 through October 31, plus Columbus Day.
Kids can participate in a memorable trick–or–treating experience in the spooky streets of Ghost Town, where they will show off their festive Halloween costumes as they collect their tasty treats. Guests can also visit the Livery Stable to get close and personal with the Creepy Critters of Calico. Spiders, bugs, and more await at our Creepy Critters Corral. Whimsical jack-o-lanterns surround Calico Park as it changes into an enchanting Pumpkin Patch location for families to enjoy the season’s atmosphere with photo ops. Guests can get in the spirit by decorating their very own themed cookie or pumpkin right in the heart of Ghost Town. Miniature pumpkins or Halloween cookies will be available for a nominal fee. Also in Calico Park, Snoopy and the Gang host Spooktivities. A full day of Halloween fun awaits all ages with games, music, spooky stories and more.
Join Snoopy and his friends at the Calico Mine Stage for a celebration that is not to be missed! Ghouls of all ages are encouraged to strut their stuff and show off their Halloween costumes as we celebrate the spookiest season at Snoopy’s Spooktacular Costume Party. Also, at the Calico Mine Stage, Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies are back for high-energy country music concert and comedy for all to enjoy!
The Bob Baker Marionette Theatre Show returns with their Halloween-themed show at Birdcage Theatre. These peculiar puppeteers will amaze all with a spooky puppet show that will have little ones and adults entertained all day.
The residents of The Timber Mountain Log Ride will celebrate the Halloween Hootenanny, which adds a family-friendly seasonal twist to a park favorite. The ride’s interior features surprise after surprise as guests venture past the Calico Coffin Creeper Band, the town’s Green Witch and splash down Skull Mountain through a labyrinth of jack-o-lanterns.
Knott’s Spooky Farm runs daytime Thursdays through Sundays, September 26 through October 31 plus Columbus Day, and is included with regular park admission. With 32 nights of fright on select Thursdays through Sundays, from September 7 to November 3, Fright Fest Extreme establishes Six Flags Magic Mountain as California’s largest haunt featuring 11 terrifying haunted houses and nine bone-chilling scare zones.
Fright Fest Extreme transforms the 260-acre theme park into a haunted scream park of epic proportions, captivating horror enthusiasts and thrill-seekers with a record combined total of 20 haunted attractions, including five new haunted houses inspired by Stranger Things, Trick ‘r Treat, Army of the Dead, The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Nun, and the SAW franchise.

Six all-new haunted houses and three scare zones coming to Fright Fest Extreme include:
Stranger Things – The students of Hawkins High decide to team up to create a little innocent Halloween fun for their community – but things quickly turn upside down and morph into something far darker.
Trick ‘r Treat – Enter a dark and twisted candy trail nightmare on a jack-o-lantern-lit path of supernatural encounters which tap into your deepest fears. With Sam, the infamous Spirit of Halloween, as your guide, learn the rules of the spooky holiday before entering a world where tricks dominate treats.
Army of the Dead – The City of Las Vegas is under lockdown following a recent viral outbreak and survivors must look for an escape while battling the undead.
The Conjuring Universe – Strap in for a tour of the Warrens’ most hair-raising and gruesome cases, including those that inspired The Conjuring, Anabelle and The Nun. In
each investigation, encounters with cursed artifacts make you the target of the possession.
The SAW Franchise – Celebrate the 20th anniversary of SAW with an all-new experience honoring the franchise’s legacy of terror by plunging guests into the depths of Jigsaw’s twisted mind. Guests will endure torturous trials and come face to face with some of John Kramer’s most diabolical contraptions before time runs out.
Aftermath: Nocturnal Hunt – Three hundred years after a devastating zombie outbreak, Ash City lies in ruins. His vicious bite penetrates deep, causing sleep paralysis which holds his victim in sway while he slowly consumes their flesh. Widows (Maze) – The night of the arachnid is upon us! Enter a web-covered nursing home where demonic, eight-legged black widows emerge from their silken tunnels to possess the withered bodies of the elderly residence. Returning Mazes Room 13 – Violent murders at The Blind Tiger interrupt the Prohibition-era revelry on Memory Lane. Wax Works (Final Year) – Buy a ticket for the final showing of the most amazing wax museum the world has ever seen! The figures look so lifelike you’ll swear you saw them move. Return to the dark decadence of a bygone era as The Gore-ing 20’s scare zone terrorizes even the bravest and most brutal souls. The revelers at The Blind Tiger, the secret speakeasy on Memory Lane, danced their way into oblivion when their decadence brought upon them a deadly curse. Step right up and come face to face with your worst nightmares on the Boardwalk. Deviant clowns and circus freaks are dying for your undying attention in the CARNEVIL scare zone. Smell the cotton candy as the maniacal midway monsters close in on you.
The Lake underneath Silver Bullet recedes to reveal the Forsaken Lake scare zone, where gothic creatures ravaged by the dark and murky waters wander from their crypts. Each night brings new terrors as a funeral procession makes its way to the spirit world.
In The Gauntlet, characters return to invade Camp Snoopy, but with an updated twist. Guests will again encounter the King and Queen of the realm, maniacal jesters, brutal barbarians, wicked wizards and lawless peasants. They’ve all returned with an onslaught of fresh terror.

It’s up to the Lawman and the Hangman to rise up and battle the evildoers in all out bloodfest featuring the vilest villains of the past year. Timber Mountain Log Ride: Halloween Hootenanny (Attraction Overlay) – The Timber Mountain Log Ride residents celebrate the Halloween Hootenanny, which adds a seasonal twist to a park favorite. Mysterious creatures of Timber Mountain that live out in the woods and caverns join the citizens as they honor the season at the Halloween Hootenanny. The Ride’s interior features surprises as guests venture past the Calico Coffin Creeper band, the town’s green witch, and splash down Skull Mountain through a labyrinth of jack-o-lanterns all set to an original soundtrack by Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies.
Into The Fog: A Scary Farm Tribute Art Show – The Factory Store Into the Fog is an art show specially curated for the discerning Scary Farm fan. The show is home to a collection of original art by unique and talented artists from across the country. These artists have drawn inspiration from Knott’s Scary Farm’s rich decades long history and we’re certain you’ll find an original or print you’ll want to take home with you. Knott’s Scary Farm Event Details
Knott’s Scary Farm has welcomed millions of visitors for over 50 years of never-ending nightmares and has become an institution in the Southern California theme park landscape. This year, the event returns on September 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29, October 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, November 1 and 2. Knott’s Scary Farm is open 7:00 pm – 2:00 am on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7:00 pm – 1:00 am on select Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Due to the explicit and frightening nature of the event, it is not recommended for children under 13.
A chaperone policy will remain in effect for all Knott’s Scary Farm event nights. Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted into the park. The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One chaperone may accompany no more than ten guests ages 15 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay. Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, state-issued ID card, passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park. Guests ages 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection.
In addition, a bag policy will remain in effect for this year’s Knott’s Scary Farm. Clear plastic bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6” as well as non-clear wristlets or clutches no larger than 5”x 8”x 2” are allowed at Knott’s Scary Farm. All bags are subject to search prior to entry.

Event Parking
Your event ticket includes parking at any general admission parking lot. Starting at 5 PM, present your event ticket to a parking attendant booth for entry. Directions are available here.
Event Entry & Bag Policy
Please proceed to the rear of Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant, where all Guests will be subject to a Security Screening. Please secure all unnecessary items in your vehicle before entry. This event will follow our Scary Farm bag policy. Clear plastic bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6” as well as non-clear wristlets or clutches no larger than 5”x 8”x 2” will be allowed. All bags are subject to search before entry.
Following the screening, please present your ticket at the Special Event Entrance turnstiles. Every guest must present a special event ticket for entry. This event is sold out, and additional tickets will not be available for purchase. Late arrivals will not be accommodated. This special event permits NO RE-ENTRY.
Special Presentation
The night will begin at the Calico Mine Stage at approximately 7 PM. Those unable to attend can view a live broadcast and post-event recording on the Knott’s Berry Farm YouTube channel.

Didn’t get to spend enough time in the Legacy Haunt Store experience? Don’t fret, fiend! The Legacy Haunt Store and Museum will open daily to all Guests beginning Friday, August 23, in the California Marketplace. Plus, Guests with a “Scary Farm: Nightmares Revealed” Event ticket, Guests will also receive priority access on Friday, August 23. WELCOME CAMPERS! It looks like some of our camp counselors read that weird book they found in the forest, and now Camp Slashers is plagued with monsters! You will need to be trained on proper axe- throwing self-defense (and other fun games) to protect yourself from the undead!
Slashers is a horror-themed axe-throwing bar in Costa Mesa. Enjoy playing our axe-throwing version of battle stations, tic-tac-toe, alien invasion, and other fun games while you drink some of our hand-picked craft ales.
Owners and creators Luke and Madison Rhoades are theatre people who always try to elevate their experiences with special effects, stories, and immersive atmospheres. After opening Cross Roads Escape Games in 2016 and garnering accolades such as USA Today’s Top 10 Best In The Nation and the prestigious Room Escape Artist’s Golden Lock Award, Cross Roads has set a benchmark in immersive entertainment with hits like The Hex Room and The Weeping Witch.
“I see axe throwing the same as I saw escape rooms years ago: a fun and great idea, but lacking in immersive sets and theatrical elements,” says Madison Rhoades. “We plan to take Slashers Axe Throwing & Ales to the same elevated level as Cross Roads Escape Games.” Slashers is the only venue in Southern California to offer hatchet and big axe throwing, interactive projected targets, and draft beer.
At Slashers, every visit is a story waiting to unfold, a mini adventure to be had. Whether you’re a horror movie buff, an axe-throwing enthusiast, or just looking for a unique night out, Slashers is the place to be!

Enjoy the spooktacular Halloween season at Knott’s Spooky Farm, a family-friendly Halloween celebration. Families can join in on the ghoulish fun as the park transforms with themed décor and wicked fun around every corner. The Fall Season of Fun offers Halloween-themed activities that celebrate the season, including trick-or-treating, a lineup of original shows, and pumpkin decorating. Kids can participate in a memorable trick-or-treating experience in the spooky streets of Ghost Town, where they will interact with an array of spooky but friendly shopkeepers and show off their festive Halloween costumes. Guests can also visit the Livery Stable to get close and personal with the Creepy Critters of Calico. Spiders, bugs, and more await at our Creepy Critters Corral. Whimsical jack-o-lanterns surround Calico Park as it changes into an enchanting Pumpkin Patch location for families to enjoy the season’s atmosphere with photo ops. Guests can get in the spirit by decorating their very own themed cookie or pumpkin right in the heart of Ghost Town. Miniature pumpkins or Halloween cookies will be available for a nominal fee. Little ghouls are also encouraged to strut their stuff and show off their Halloween Costumes in the Calico Carnival Costume Cavalcade hosted by some of your favorite town citizens at the Calico Mine Stage. Also at the Calico Mine Stage, Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies are back for a country concert like no other, with plenty of high-energy music and comedy on tap.
Gals and ghouls are in for a treat as the Bob Baker Marionette Theatre Show is back with their Halloween-themed show at Birdcage Theatre. These peculiar puppeteers will amaze all with a spooky puppet show that will have little ones and adults entertained all day. The residents of The Timber Mountain Log Ride will celebrate the Halloween Hootenanny, which adds a family-friendly seasonal twist to a park favorite. The fun continues for little ones at the Calico Mine Ride as it undergoes a fantastical transformation into a candy wonderland!
