School is back in session, crowds are much lighter now. We now are starting to see Scary Farm deco though out Ghost Town. This year there are a lot of pumpkins, Im assuming that will also tie into the new Knott’s Spooky Farm (Weekend Daytime Halloween Fun) in Oct.

The Holiday Weekend Is The Last Chance to Take In Knott’s Summertime Entertainment

Knott’s Berry Farm offers special Labor Day weekend entertainment and family fun for a variety of ages and interests, including a spectacular Labor Day Sunday fireworks show. On September 6, the Park’s skyline will glow with a brilliant fireworks show at 10pm – TIP: the best view in the Park is in Boardwalk and Calico Square. Guests can also take a journey on the spectacular new 4D interactive ride, Voyage to the Iron Reef; stroll through the Park’s Old West Ghost Town® or hang with the PEANUTS gang in a fresh Camp Snoopy, the land of high sierra fun!
There’s live entertainment everywhere you turn. The Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4 – Sept. 7, is the last time guest can enjoy the following line-up of can’t miss shows and entertainment:

· Salsa Bands, nothing says a fiesta like a dance party created by some of Orange County’s most popular salsa bands.

· Back by popular demand, The Big Fat Steve Band – The Kings of Kool is a fun, exciting dance band with a swingin’ beat. Enjoy the live musicality of rockabilly, swing and classic sounds. The only thing missing are your dance moves.

· Camp-goers will love Charlie Brown’s Happy Campers performed in the newly renovated Camp Snoopy Theatre. Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, their friend JT, and the world’s most popular beagle, Snoopy, will take the stage in a show that’s sure to make an outdoorsman out of anybody!

· Calico Saloon Cancan Show, because what’s a Saloon without a show? Don’t miss this revered show for some good old’ fashioned barroom fun.

· Ghost Town is alive with townsfolk who will put you smack dab in the middle of the Wild West. New residents have put down stakes recently… Clem Culpepper, the ever hopeful gold miner, Ma & Pa Shine, our resident moonshiners & Nathan Quickly, the Pony Express Agent, and the rest of the Calico Townsfolk.

Knott’s Labor Day weekend celebration is included with regular daytime admission. Theme Park hours are: Friday, September 4 10am – 8pm; Saturday, September 5 10am – 10pm; Sunday, September 6 10am – 11pm; Monday, September 7 10am – 8pm. A 2016 Season Pass is a great way to experience all of the seasons of fun at Knott’s. 2016 Knott’s Berry Farm Season Passes go on sale August 28, 2015 for as little as nine payments of $9. GHOST TOWN’S 75TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

In 2016, Knott’s Berry Farm’s Ghost Town will celebrate 75 years of creating lasting memories for countless generations. In preparation for Ghost Town’s Anniversary Celebration, GhostRider, the longest, tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster on the West Coast, will close on September 8 for a comprehensive restoration.

The massive coaster features plunging drops, harrowing turns, and 4,533 ft. of wooden track. Hitting speeds of over 50 miles per hour, and looming 118 ft. over the historic Ghost Town, GhostRider even races outside of the Park, towering over Beach Boulevard. Screamin’ Swing will permanently close on September 8 in preparation for Ghost Town’s 75th anniversary celebration in 2016.

Knott’s Scary Farm Build Update 8-17-15

This week a lot more is going on!!!! We are 6 Weeks away from opening night which is Sept.24th! Be sure to check out the season Pass preview event Aug. 26th! The 3rd annual Scary Farm preview that brings together eager fans wanting to know what’s going to be lurking in The Fog.

Not completely sure what this new maze is, but we will find out soon! Work is being done on the back side!

Knott’s Spooky Farm, Open Weekends in Oct., Will Feature All-New Spooktastic Attractions Park Wide

The inaugural Knott’s Spooky Farm event, a park wide daytime, non-scare celebration for kids geared for kids ages 3-11, takes place weekends in October starting October 3 – Halloween Day. Knott’s Berry Farm invites families to join in on the Halloween fun with all new experiences in Ghost Town, Boardwalk, Fiesta Village, and Camp Snoopy. The special limited-time entertainment serves up live entertainment, hands on activities, a costume contest, and more.

Surprise the little explorer in your pack by visiting the Creepy Crawler Cabin in the Pony Express Rangers Station, where they can observe or hold a friendly praying mantis, beetles and more.

At the end of the hauntingly fun maze, kids can paint and bring home their very own pumpkin head, for a nominal fee.

We are about 6 weeks away from Knott’s Scary Farm, hard to believe its getting closer since the silence of whats happening this season, but ScareLA is sure to set some light to that darkness!Plus expect a Passholder preview with in the next few weeks later. They are working fast with more mazes popping up.

The Gunslingers Grave:

Maze under Silver Bullet and around Camp Snoopy Railroad, The train is still open for now, once the summer crowds die down, which will be soon :)))) Camp Snoopy Railroad will close down till before Thanksgiving!

KNOTT’S BERRY FARM HOSTS COUNTRY SHOWDOWN STATE FINALS
Saturday, August 8 at 7pm in Wagon Camp

Knott’s Berry Farm is proud to announce that it will host the 34th Annual Country Showdown’s California State Finals. The State Final Event will take place Saturday, August 8 at 7pm; the event is America’s largest country music talent search. The Country Showdown begins each spring with over 450 local talent contests sponsored by country music radio stations throughout the United States. Winners advance to their respective State competitions held at leading fairs and high profile venues. Acts then compete for a $1,000 prize, the State Title and the opportunity to advance to one of five Regional Finals.

The California State Event is supported by broadcast partner Go Country 105 and will consist of five finalists who qualified from radio stations located throughout Southern California from cities such as Merced, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, and more. Marie Wise-Hawkins will make a surprise appearance at this year’s State Final Event. She is currently the reigning 2014 Country Showdown State Finals winner, and was a national finalist in last year’s competition.

The winner of the Country Showdown State Event will advance to the West Regional to vie for an all-expense-paid trip to the National Final in Nashville where they will compete for $100,000 and the coveted title of “Best New Act in Country Music.” Previous contestants in the Country Showdown include such recording artists as Garth Brooks and Martina McBride.

The competition will be held in Knott’s Berry Farm’s famous Wagon Camp and entrance to the performance is included with paid admission.
