Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is back and bigger than ever!
Beginning March 18th and extending daily through April 24th!
The festival features more than two dozen new boysenberry food and drink creations, an expansive selection of entertainment and fun activities for the whole family
The Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is our annual food-inspired event that celebrates the park’s historic roots by highlighting the little berry that started it all, the boysenberry. Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a tantalizing lineup of dishes ranging from savory foods with a boysenberry twist to one-of-a-kind specialty desserts and drinks that you can only find at Knott’s Berry Farm during this time of the year. In addition to the numerous food and drink offerings, the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival offers a wide selection of local crafters, live music, musical stage shows and fun activities for guests of all ages to enjoy. The Knott’s Boysenberry Festival runs a full extra week this year starting March 18, operating daily through April 24, 2022. This year’s event will introduce entirely new food offerings featuring a selection of more than two dozen food and drink items. A few new items to note include:
- Crab Sushi Roll with a Boysenberry Aioli
- Chicken Dumplings with a Boysenberry Wonton and a Teriyaki Dipping Sauce
- Boysenberry Horchata
- Chicken Cordon Bleu with a Boysenberry Cheese Sauce
- Trio of Sausage with Peppers and Onions on Boysenberry Polenta
- Spring Fling Salad with Shrimp and a Boysenberry Vinaigrette
- Boysenberry Filled Donut Open Faced Chicken Sandwich with an Aioli Drizzle
- Deconstructed Lemonade with Blackberries, Loganberries, and Red Raspberries
- Boysenberry Rocky Road Brownie
- Boysenberry Pie Bars
- Boysenberry Slushy Mudslide (alcoholic)

- Boysenberry Sweet Tea with Vodka A great way to indulge in the new boysenberry food items during the festival is by purchasing a tasting card priced at $50 (or $45 for season pass holders). The tasting card will offer six tastings from a selection of 25 boysenberry-inspired dishes and drinks. A variety of signature boysenberry items will also be available for purchase a la carte. Tasting cards are available at Knotts.com or at the theme park. Guests can also create over 75 unique boysenberry-inspired creations with limited edition merchandise found throughout the park. This year’s new merchandise includes a selection of packaged food items perfect for take-home souvenirs like the new boysenberry microbrew BBQ sauce, boysenberry crème brulé coffee, boysenberry brownie cookies, boysenberry pepper bacon spread and boysenberry balsamic grilling glaze. The Berry Market, located in the California Marketplace, also features signature boysenberry items like the refreshing boysenberry sarsaparilla and our classic jams and preserves. Unique boysenberry-inspired artisan products will also be available at the Boysenberry Festival Craft Fair returning with 30 local craft vendors. Each crafter features its own boysenberry-themed items. Knott’s Boysenberry Festival also offers endless entertainment throughout the park. - Guests are invited to join Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts Gang in the musical stage show Snoopy’s Boysenberry Jamboree! The show is sure to have families dancing and singing along at the Calico Mine Stage
- Knott’s pays tribute to its past at the legendary Bird Cage Theatre with a special presentation of the brand-new comedy melodrama, Riverboat Revenge. All aboard for this boysenberry bon voyage!
- Get in on the fun with some of the craziest and messiest games in Calico. Try your berry best in our Boysenberry Fun and Games, including the wildly entertaining Boysenberry Pie Eating Contest.

Celebrate DAILY with the PEANUTS Gang during Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration beginning January 22 through March 6
The celebration features PEANUTS-inspired comic strip photo ops and festive park-wide décor as well as the addition of a new stage show, a Charles Schulz exhibit, plenty of PEANUTS inspired food items, and a new friend to join in on all the fun.
The Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration invites guests to step into the iconic world of Charles M. Schulz comic strips as the characters take over the entire theme park with special activities for everyone, now taking place daily beginning January 22 through March 6. The limited-time event welcomes fans of all ages to join in on the excitement with family-friendly options for guests to play and interact with the PEANUTS Gang throughout the park. The celebration features a new stage show, a new Charles Schulz exhibit, plenty of new PEANUTS-inspired food items, and last but not least, a brand-new walk-around character to join in on the fun.
At the Calico Mine Stage, the PEANUTS characters will be debuting a brand-new musical for guests with It’s Your Life, Charlie Brown. During the day, Charlie Brown gets the shock of his life on the game show “It’s Your Life!” There will be music, fun and surprise guests, including the world’s most famous beagle, Snoopy! The stage will transform into a musical extravaganza at nightfall as the park
hosts Woodstock’s Musical Festival. The musical event features the PEANUTS Gang joined by the family-friendly indie band The Jelly of the Month Club, performing a high-energy rock concert for the whole family.
The PEANUTS-inspired festivities will continue at the Bird Cage Theatre as the park offers an experience that gives both the young and the young at heart a lesson on how to draw their favorite PEANUTS characters. The PEANUTS Sketch School will include our resident art teacher, who will provide step-by-
step instructions on creating the perfect PEANUTS masterpiece. At Calico’s Town Hall, a new family- friendly, PEANUTS-inspired exhibit will be open for guests to experience. The new exhibit, Take Care with PEANUTS, invites us to laugh together at the fun and foibles of the PEANUTS Gang as they grapple with some of life’s biggest questions and ideas. Guests can take a look at the inspiration behind some of the most popular themes in PEANUTS through Schulz’s comic strips, photos, and drawings.
Join in on a Western escapade with Franklin and Linus as they transform into cowboys in the PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree at Calico Park. The boys are looking to challenge guests with some of the rootiniest, tootinest games in Calico. Also in Ghost Town is Pigpen’s Pig Pen, where everyone’s favorite messy pal will be joining the rest of the PEANUTS Gang as he hosts a special meetup at the Livery Stables with some of his favorite animal friends.
Venture into Camp Snoopy, where the Camp Snoopy Theater will now feature the Music Goes ‘Round and Around during the day. Sally and Schroeder will host a retrospect of melodies sure to make the audience dance in the aisles. Don’t forget to hop aboard the Grand Sierra Railroad to experience a one- of-a-kind adventure as riders travel with the PEANUTS Gang to the Beagle Bonanza in this fun ride overlay.
While visiting Fiesta Village, guests can uncover an experience guaranteed to make everyone dance – Discoteca de Silencio or silent disco. The fun begins with guests strapping on a set of headphones and enjoying some upbeat tunes. Snoopy’s brother, Spike, hosts the party bound to be the most fun guests can experience while quiet in Spike’s Silent Disco.
The celebration doesn’t stop there! Just in time for PEANUTS Celebration, the DJs of K-NOT Radio, the hippest station on the Boardwalk, are spinning PEANUTS music. You might even hear a special guest or two, so be sure to tune in. The fun continues at Boardwalk BBQ, where you can grab a seat (and a plate!) to enjoy the smooth sounds of The James Street Trio that will transport you to the hometown of the PEANUTS Gang with their tribute to the music of Vince Guaraldi.

Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration

The year kicks off its Seasons of Fun with the return of Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration, a celebration dedicated to the world Charles M. Schultz created. This festive celebration is now running daily, beginning on January 22 through March 6, 2022. Guests can step into PEANUTS comic strips, as the beloved Gang takes over the entire park, with experiences that allow fans of all ages to play and interact with their favorite PEANUTS characters. The celebration also includes delicious PEANUTS-inspired food, reimagined live shows, new specially-themed décor, and the addition of a new friend to join in on all the fun.
Knott’s Boysenberry Festival

Summer at Knott’s
May 20 through September 5
In 2022, your favorite town of Calico comes to life once again with the return of the immersive western adventure, Ghost Town Alive! Guests are invited to become a part of this summer’s action-packed storyline in the streets of Ghost Town. Ghost Town Alive! will offer new adventures, roles, characters, and entertainment during summertime at Knott’s starting May 20 through September 5.
The summer fun does not stop there because when the sun goes down, the nighttime event begins with Knott’s Summer Nights. This party after dusk offers a variety of live music, classic summer eats and games for the whole family to enjoy. Guests can also experience unique photo opportunities and fun interactions with the Party Planning Crew of Summer Nights who help make it an event to remember.
Summertime at Knott’s wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Knott’s Soak City Waterpark, open May 28 through September 11. Guests can catch a ride down 23 different speed, tube, and body slides or take a relaxing trip down one of the longest lazy rivers in the country. The 15-acre water park has something for each member of the family, an interactive kid’s area, and for those more adventurous, The Wedge, a rip-roaring raft ride.
Knott’s Scary Farm
Select nights starting September 22 through October 31
Knott’s Scary Farm, Southern California’s largest immersive Halloween experience, will be returning for its 49th year with terrifying new scares. There is nowhere to hide as frights await you at every turn and more than 1,000 monsters roam the park and lurk in the fog, waiting to feed on the blood-curdling screams of guests.
This specially ticketed event takes place on select nights starting September 22 through October 31. Due to the explicit and frightening nature of the event, it is not recommended for children under 13
Knott’s Spooky Farm
Daytime weekends starting October 1 through October 30 plus Halloween
Enjoy the Halloween season at Knott’s Spooky Farm, a family-friendly fall time celebration. Little ghouls can trick-or-treat around the town of Calico’s shops and buildings to collect sweet treats from the friendly townsfolk. Families can join in on the Halloween fun as the park is transformed with themed décor and spooky surprises. The daytime festival will return in 2022 on weekends starting October 1 through October 30 in addition to Halloween.

Everyone’s favorite time of the year returns with Knott’s Merry Farm, beginning November 18 through January 1, 2023. The park completely transforms with whimsical décor and thousands of twinkling lights throughout every corner. Families can enjoy the holidays in Santa’s Christmas Cabin by sharing their wish lists with jolly ol’ St. Nick himself and grabbing his famous milk and cookies.
The streets of Ghost Town fill with Calico Carolers performing songs of the season while you explore an array of local artisans selling unique gifts perfect for loved ones in the Christmas Crafts Village. In the nighttime, you can enjoy a magical Snow and Glow experience dancing to the beat of holiday music while snow gently falls in a one-of-a-kind moment.

New Year’s Eve at Knott’s Berry Farm Returns!
The countdown to the New Year is on at Knott’s Merry Farm with special fireworks, live entertainment, and special extended hours for the one-night event. Guests have a chance to say goodbye to the final moments of 2021 at Knott’s as the park celebrates with memorable festivities including Merry Farm seasonal performances throughout the day on December 31st. The enchanting Knott’s New Year’s Eve celebration gives guests front row seats to the final event of the year as the park rings in 2022 with a park wide-party unlike any other and everyone is invited.
The New Year’s celebration features entertaining activities for the whole family including a family-friendly comedian, live bands, swing dancing, and more. Guests are invited to count down the final moments of 2021 with festive music, party hats, and noisemakers making this night extra special. The spectacular firework celebration sets the skies above Knott’s ablaze at the stroke of midnight as colorful fireworks light the start of the New Year. The nighttime extravaganza offers a stress-free night perfect for family and friends to come together and create new memories by starting a new tradition by celebrating New Year’s Eve at Knott’s.
This year’s line-up of can’t miss entertainment are:
- Midnight Fireworks Spectacular, guests can ring in the New Year with a bang as the park’s skies wonderfully light up for an aerial fireworks display that will leave the young and young at heart in awe.
- Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies, four country boys from deep in the hills of Anaheim will have the crowd’s toes tappin’, hands clappin’ and guts bustin’. The best darn-tootin’ entertainment this side of the Santa Ana freeway. The comical and musical number can be seen at the Wagon Camp Theatre.
- DJ Katar brings the party to the farm for a special New Year’s celebration, with high-energy music and dancing taking place at the Calico Mine Stage.
- Next to the Calico Mine Stage, the PEANUTS characters will be posing for pictures with guests to celebrate the New Year in their favorite party outfits.
- Surf on by Boardwalk BBQ where you can catch PianoMania Dueling Pianos. These two talented musicians go head-to-head in a musical battle you won’t want to miss.
- The Calico Mine Stage will blast unforgettable pop and rock music courtesy of the band Mic Dangerously and the Royal We. It’ll have guests dancing in the aisles.
- Family-friendly comedian, Chipper Lowell, brings his hilarious comedy, magic, and audience participation to the Bird Cage Theatre.
- Jitterbug Pop Swing Band, Dance Instructors, and the Jitterbug Jumpers are on hand to play the slickest standards ever. Swing, sway, and jump with the hippest cats in town. The Jitterbug Pop Swing Band provides the tunes and you’re invited to dance the night away in the legendary Boardwalk Ballroom. Dance instruction classes included!
- Fiesta Plaza will feature DJ Ashley playing upbeat Latin and top 40 music.
- A New Year’s Eve celebration is not complete without a delicious meal. Spur’s Restaurant is serving up a special New Year’s Eve Buffet from 5:30 pm-10 pm. Walk-Up only, regular park admission or Season Pass required.
This New Year’s Eve offers an exciting day on the Farm with Knott’s Merry Farm’s festive lineup of entertainment, delectable foods, and holiday shopping! A few of this year’s seasonal highlights include:
- Merry Christmas, Snoopy!, in this exciting show filled with whimsy and spectacular ice skating, Snoopy enjoys all of the best parts of the season, including trimming the Christmas tree, awaiting Santa’s arrival, and attending the festive Christmas Ball!
- When the sun sets on the farm, the buildings and paths in Ghost Town twinkle brightly to the beat of a holiday favorite as snow gently falls on all guests. - In the intimate setting of Ghost Town’s historic Bird Cage Theatre, catch A Christmas Carol and Marley’s Wings.

You can also always grab a seat (and a plate!) at Fireman’s BBQ, where our legendary Bluegrass Duo takes the stage with a variety of classic bluegrass hits and old favorites, our Duo will have your toes tappin’ and your hands clappin’!
- Swing in the season at Boardwalk Ballroom! The dance floor is open as the best swing bands around put their own spin on the season at the Tinsel Top Club. Or head over to the Boardwalk to experience the Rockin’ Reindeer, a musical duo who are the key to the season and a great way to enhance a wonderful meal at Boardwalk BBQ!
- Join Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies for a foot stompin’, down home dose of Christmas cheer the only way they know how – with energetic music and comedy for the whole family! You won’t be
able sit still when these talented musicians hit the stage at Wagon Camp! Or grab a seat for a South of the Border Show filled with rich history, tradition and the spirit of the season. Traditional mariachi is the name of the game at the Fiesta Plaza Stage with the Mariachi Angelitas.
- Join 1950’s radio personalities Wayne Deer and Ginger Snaps as they present their annual Christmas broadcast from the KNOT studio in the heart of the Boardwalk. This hilarious duo does it all, from spinning records to taking requests. And keep an ear out for some important Christmas commercials.
- Everyone’s favorite time of the year in Ghost Town is when Wilderness Dance Hall joyously transforms into Santa’s Christmas Cabin, where the entire family can create fond memories by taking photos with Santa Claus and his friends. It’s also home to an array of holiday treats, including freshly baked cookies, delectable pastries and seasonal drinks such as gourmet hot chocolate with marshmallows or a cold glass of milk, perfect for dunking your cookie in.
- Even more delicious holiday dishes and one-of-a-kind treats can be found throughout Knott’s Merry Farm. Knott’s Spooky Farm Celebrates the Halloween Season with Fun for Little Ones Starting September 25, 2021!
The spooktacular family-friendly, daytime Halloween event, Knott’s Spooky Farm, invites families with little ghouls ages 3-11 to celebrate the delightfully spooky season as the park transforms with themed décor and wicked fun around every corner. The fall Season of Fun offers Halloween-themed activities that celebrate the season, including trick-or-treating, a line-up of original shows, pumpkin decorating and the brand-new Calico Carnival Costume Cavalcade. Knott’s Spooky Farm takes place on weekends, September 25 – October 31.
You can find Charlie Brown, his best friend Snoopy and the beloved PEANUTS Gang celebrating the spooky holiday with their own Halloween costumes at special meet & greets and fun photo encounters throughout Camp Snoopy. Kids ages 3 -11 can participate in a memorable trick-or-treating experience available along Ghost Town’s Main Street and Schoolhouse Road. During trick-or-treating, kids will interact with an array of spooky but friendly shopkeepers as little ones have the opportunity to show off their festive Halloween costumes. In Ghost Town, Stanley Scarecrow has opened the Livery Stable for guests of all ages to get close and personal with the Creepy Critters of Calico.
Whimsical jack-o-lanterns surround Calico Park as it changes into an enchanting Pumpkin Patch location for families to enjoy the atmosphere of the season with photo ops and crafters. Miniature pumpkins or Halloween cookies will be available for decorating for a nominal fee. Linus can be spotted at the pumpkin patch, helping little ones pick out their very own perfect pumpkin. Gals and ghouls are in for a treat as new fun Halloween-themed shows are in store with the Bob Baker Marionette Theatre Show at Birdcage Theatre. These peculiar puppeteers will amaze all with a spooky puppet show.
At Camp Snoopy, families can hop aboard the Grand Sierra Railroad, joining Linus in the Pumpkin Patch as he and Sally await the arrival of The Great Pumpkin because Halloween isn’t complete without this timeless tale from the Peanuts Gang. Additionally, The Camp Snoopy Theater is debuting the Great Pumpkin Palooza show, where you’ll get more than a rock as you join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the Peanuts Gang for a high-energy music tribute to the best holiday ever, Halloween.
The residents of The Timber Mountain Log Ride will celebrate the Halloween Hootenanny, which adds a family-friendly seasonal twist to a park favorite. Mysterious creatures of Timber Mountain that live out in the woods and caverns join the citizens as they honor the season at the Halloween Hootenanny. The ride’s interior will feature fun surprises as guests venture past the Calico Coffin Creeper band, the town’s green witch and splash down Skull Mountain through a labyrinth of jack-o-lanterns. The seasonal ride will also feature an original song performed by Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies.
At Camp Snoopy, families can hop aboard the Grand Sierra Railroad to experience a one-of-a-kind adventure with A Trip to Camp Spooky as riders travel with the PEANUTS Gang® and spot 2D and 3D Halloween themed characters and effects along the trail.
Little ghouls are also encouraged to strut their stuff and show off their Halloween Costumes in the Calico Carnival Costume Cavalcade hosted by the Calico Mayor and Cameo Kate at the Calico Mine Stage.
The Halloween fun is parkwide as Día de Los Muertos, ¡ViVir! takes over the Fiesta Plaza Stage. This festive show pays tribute to the Hispanic cultural celebration and traditions of Día de Los Muertos.
Knott’s Spooky Farm runs weekends September 25 – October 31 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and is included with regular park admission.
